Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Many of our readers live with changes in vision, hearing, memory or dexterity, so accessibility is where we start, not something we add at the end. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we've built in
- Body text of 18px or larger on this website, and 21px in the apps, with high-contrast colors.
- Pages that reflow on a phone without sideways scrolling, and that still work when you zoom to 200%.
- Large buttons and tap targets, and visible focus outlines for keyboard users.
- Descriptive text for every meaningful image, including book covers.
- Status and actions never shown by color alone.
- Plain language, with technical and medical terms explained.
- A dyslexia-friendly edition of each app and its help pages, set in the OpenDyslexic typeface.
- Audiobook editions of our books.
What we know isn't right yet
- A few short labels, such as the tagline in the banner at the top of each page, are smaller than 16px on phones.
- We have checked our pages ourselves with automated tools and by hand, but we have not yet had an independent accessibility audit.
Tell us if something doesn't work for you
If anything on this site, in a book or in an app is hard to read, hard to use, or doesn't work with the assistive technology you rely on, please tell us at support@sr.guide. Tell us the page or screen, and what happened. We'll reply within two business days, and if we can't fix it quickly we'll get you the information another way.
