Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This website sets no cookies. We don't use analytics, advertising pixels, social-media trackers or third-party fonts. That's why you don't see a cookie banner here: there is nothing to consent to.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. "Local storage" is a similar store that stays on your device. Both can be used to remember things between visits, and some companies use them to follow people around the web. We don't.
On this website (www.independentseniors.guide)
Nothing is stored on your device. Our host, Cloudflare, may set a short-lived, strictly necessary security cookie (named __cf_bm) if it needs to tell a person from an automated attack. It is deleted after 30 minutes and is not used to track you.
If we ever add visitor statistics, we'll use a cookieless service and update this page first. If we ever add anything that needs your consent, we'll ask before it runs, with "Accept" and "Reject" buttons of equal size.
Checkout and the member area (shop.sr.guide)
When you go to checkout or log in, you leave this website for Systeme.io. Systeme.io, Stripe and PayPal use cookies there that are strictly necessary to run your cart, your login and secure payment, and to prevent card fraud. They are set and controlled by those companies. Their policies explain them:
Systeme.io shows its own cookie choices if it uses anything that is not strictly necessary.
In our apps and free downloads (app.sr.guide)
The Health Record, the Carer Workbench and our free checklists save what you type in your browser's local storage, on your device, so your records are there next time. This is the whole point of the app and is strictly necessary for it to work. It is never sent to us. The apps and free downloads contain no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and set no tracking cookies. You can remove what's stored at any time from inside each app, or by clearing your browser's site data.
Managing cookies
Every browser lets you see and delete cookies and site data in its settings. Blocking cookies on shop.sr.guide may stop checkout or login from working.
